Gail Deloach Woven Raffia Oatmeal Bath Collection

Raffia is a hand woven fabric with slubs in a natural color. The Raffia collection is a lovely balance between earthy and elegant.

Light and soft but long wearing, Raffia is obtained from the giant leaves of the fast growing Raphia Palm. Woven Raffia has an inherently irregular texture which adds character to its natural rustic beauty. In 2008, Asiaphile celebrated its 20th anniversary. It has been twenty years since Gail DeLoach opened a small Los Angeles store featuring Asian gift items and antique furniture on Melrose Avenue in 1988. Today they are a multi-national wholesale design company that produces luxury home accessories found in fine retail shops and hotels throughout the world. With this 20 year milestone, and to usher in Asiaphile's third decade, they are pleased to announce beginning January 2008, the new name for their collections became Gail DeLoach. They remain committed to exploring traditional Asian materials and translating them into modern, sophisticated vernacular, and continue to devote particular attention to working with sustainable woods and fibers. Clean silhouettes, luxurious materials, and beautiful fabrications are their trademark. The Gail DeLoach collections are produced in Thailand, Vietnam, and the Philippines.
